Christmas is coming

Christmas. Yes I did just say it.

Christmas is ticking around again, it's only just hit October and Halloween has not even wrapped yet, but Christmas is already on the lips of absolutely everybody. Children, parents, boys and girls...Well the world.

Let's face it, if we don't think about Christmas early, it's very easy to get stressed. It's even easier to rack up a spend on the credit card and...You guessed it. Get stressed. I for one dislike stress in any way shape or form, and I refuse to accept stress into my life if I can help it. I believe in a positive mindset, I believe in preparation and I strive for organisation.

I have been thinking about Christmas for the last couple of months now (I know...I know!), but there is a method to my madness. I haven't actually bought all that much just yet, but I have a very good idea of what to buy. I have been dreaming up ideas, getting as many thoughts together as possible so that I can look at making this year, Leo's most magical Christmas to date!

Of course by thinking up ideas and giving myself a plan of what to buy, I now have a budget in mind, and it means that I won't be buying willy nilly, so now everything that I buy is part of the grand scheme of things, and I don't need to worry about funds, I don't need to panic buy on credit cards. I can slowly buy things month by month, until I have ticked off absolutely everything on the list.

My down fall is wrapping, no matter how prepared I can be with the actual shopping, you can bet your bottom dollar that come Christmas Eve while everyone else is enjoying a mince pie and cheeky drink. I will be sat into the early hours with my roll of sellotape, and my very unfortunate wrapping skills. I will be accompanied by my festive Spotify list, and I will be donning my Christmas jumper and a larger than life smile.

I am secretly looking forward to the weather cooling down a little more, wrapping up warm and enjoying the Christmas activities that will soon be available. I intend to head back to the Birmingham Christmas Market this year, and of course Leo and I will be taking our yearly trip on the Santa Express.

I refuse to let the duties of Christmas stress me out, I plan on enjoying absolutely every moment and to make that smile on Leo's face beam from one side, right through to the other.

Alexander & Co have put together a great infographic to help you get ahead this Christmas, and so that you can do what your supposed to do, and enjoy the festive season with your loved ones.
