My 1st Years this Christmas

My 1st Years

It would seem that now Halloween is behind us and we are well into November, the word on everyone's lips is... Christmas. It's no secret that I have been neck deep in Christmas preparations since at least July (life of a blogger right there for you..) so it is actually quite nice to see the rest of the world gearing up for the big day now too.

Towards the end of last month I visited My 1st Years at Maggie and Rose in London for their Christmas highlights event. It was an event that I had been really looking forward to, I hadn't really seen any of their products before so it was going to be the perfect opportunity to really get a hands on look and feel for the range. I arrived (late as always...) and the team were absolutely lovely. They got us all settled in, offered us refreshments and unleashed us on the products.

My 1st Years

For those of you who haven't heard of My 1st Years before... It was born when two best friends (Jonny and Dan) wanted to provide one of their friends with a timeless yet original gift their new addition. They wanted the gift to be personal, not to expensive and special, but no matter how hard the searched, they couldn't find the perfect gift.

That was when they decided to make it themselves, and you guessed it... My 1st Years were born!

Today the range has grown and grown, they offer teddies, toys, blankets, clothing, bed, bath and home accessories, and even Christmas!

I was so impressed with the diverse product range, and even more impressed that it could be personalized with any name of your choosing. There was furniture, Christmas stockings, Baby gro's, Santa Sacks, Christmas Count down boards.... You name it.

My 1st Years had very kindly set up some very lovely hampers for us, and it was incredible to see that they had taken the time to find out our little one's names and have some gorgeous products personalised for us to take away with us. I was actually blown away by this, I don't recall providing Leo's name as he wasn't going to be attending with me due to being at school, but sure enough in the box, there was a gorgeous Santa sack, lunch box and Christmas Count down board. All with his name on.

The quality of these products are just gorgeous, and I cannot wait to use them this Christmas, keep on eye out for them in future posts!

It was a busy event and the perfect opportunity to catch up with blogging friends old and new, and I was particularly happy to see Charlotte from Berice Baby with her gorgeous little man Hayden. Together we navigated the day, and it was so great to catch up.

Thank you so much My 1st Years for such a lovely day, and for the very generous goodies that we all left with. If you haven't already had a look at their site, you can head over to it here.
