The right here and right now has thrown me into a Christmas frenzy. I am on a mission to purchase gifts for those nearest and dearest to me, trying hard not to break the bank and of course the camels back...
I have both shopped on the high street and taken to the world wide web in order to get a head start on the festive frenzy that is about to take the world by storm. I have done the whole last minute thing before, but this year I have vowed that I will have all my gifts wrapped and ready for Santa's big delivery... BEFORE Christmas Eve comes around.
Leo's gifts are already piling high and I am about to tell the big man in red to call it a day, I know we are going to have to suitably re-pack the toy box in preparation. A thought that truly fills me with dread. So yes.. Santa if you are reading this, please NO more toys this year!
When it comes to buying gifts for friends and family I often find myself going around in circles. It can be one of the hardest jobs in the world find the perfect gift for someone, and lets face it we all want the people receiving our gifts to actually like them. I am as bad as the next person for heading back to the shop with a receipt with gifts that I wouldn't be seen dead in...Sorry Auntie I know you meant well...
Gadgets are always a good gimmick for this time of year, and I am the first to admit that I am a big giver of gadgets, especially to the younger brothers. Gadgets are fun and often have a multiple purpose, and even if they are only around for 5 minutes, they brought a smile to the person it was intended for. I have been having a mooch over at Gizoo recently and they have some super gadgets that will work for those tricky people on your 'to buy list'.
For example... The eldest younger brother with his swanky iPhone will be pleased to see a Magic Speaker under the Christmas Tree. Magic in the sense that all you have to do is place your phone on the speaker and viola!
The youngest brother will be smiling for his Desktop Volcano....
And I may even treat myself to a swanky gadget charger for me iPhone and of course my iPad....
